Role Overview
We seek a dynamic and dependable individual to join our cold room distribution team at our busy milk manufacturing facility in Labrador. This full-time contractual position involves ensuring accurate, safe, and timely packing, loading, and delivery of dairy orders. You'll join a collaborative team dedicated to excellence, contributing significantly to moving dairy products efficiently from farm to customer refrigerators.
Our warehouse operates 24/7 across three shifts, promoting work-life balance with flexible scheduling options tailored to individual lifestyles. Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided, with opportunities for skill enhancement and advancement to higher positions for motivated personnel.
Candidate Profile
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual labor in a cold-room environment.
- Possess a current forklift certification and confident in operating within confined spaces, or willing to gain this qualification.
- Strong commitment to safety adhering to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards.
- Reliable and prepared to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to accurately follow procedures and work with minimal supervision.
- Efficient time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Basic literacy and numeracy for completing order documentation.
- Take pride in quality work, demonstrate problem-solving abilities, and make prudent decisions.
