Role Overview
The Director of Supply Chain & Operations for Tim Hortons’ Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) division will spearhead the comprehensive supply chain strategy and execution across the US, Canada, and international markets. This leadership role demands balancing operational excellence with long-term transformation, overseeing planning, logistics, vendor partnerships, and supply chain resilience to support scaling global demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the global Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, including demand forecasting, supply planning, scenario analysis, and executive governance.
- Develop and deploy a unified global supply chain strategy aligned with growth and profitability targets across geographies.
- Manage the entire supply network, including inbound freight, customs, third-party logistics, and distribution channels.
- Optimize inventory management by aligning demand and supply plans, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Lead vendor relations, negotiate global contracts, and promote supplier development and governance.
- Oversee supply chain financials and key performance indicators to drive cost efficiency, service quality, and risk management.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives by integrating planning tools, automation platforms, and analytics to enhance supply chain visibility and decision-making.
- Build and mentor a global team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with Innovation, R&D, Commercial, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to ensure supply readiness and alignment with business goals.
- Embed sustainability and compliance standards within supplier selection, logistics, environmental regulations, and product packaging.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 10 years in progressive supply chain, logistics, operations, or procurement roles within CPG, food, or manufacturing sectors.
- Experienced in managing multinational supply chain operations across the US, Canada, and other international markets.
- Expertise in Integrated Business Planning and end-to-end supply chain oversight.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
- Robust financial and analytical skills to balance cost, inventory, and service trade-offs effectively.
- Knowledgeable in global logistics, customs, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred); familiarity with planning and analytics platforms is advantageous.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering; MBA or advanced qualifications are preferred.
- Committed to promoting sustainability and continuous process improvement within the supply network.
