Role Overview

The organization is looking for a disciplined, strategic, and execution-focused leader to oversee its full operational setup. This position is especially suited to a retired defense officer who wants to apply leadership, organization, and mentoring strengths in an education-driven environment.

Core Responsibilities

As Director of Operations, you will work closely with the CEO and serve as the operational anchor for both academic and business functions across online and offline delivery models.

• Manage day-to-day institutional operations, address administrative issues quickly, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with the academic director and faculty to plan class schedules, support curriculum delivery, and track performance.
• Lead recruitment for admission counselors, marketing executives, and teaching personnel, while also supporting staff discipline, morale, and performance review.
• Oversee student administration, resolve concerns, and facilitate effective communication between parents and teachers.
• Monitor budgets, fee collection, operating costs, and work with the accounts team to maintain financial discipline.
• Supervise building upkeep, safety, security, and the smooth functioning of center facilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The role is intended for recently retired or prematurely retired commissioned officers from the Army, Navy, or Air Force. The institute prefers someone who values education, mentoring, and ongoing learning, and who is comfortable engaging with students and academic teams. The position also calls for the ability to move between hands-on issue resolution and broader planning responsibilities, along with confidence in digital tools used for online delivery, marketing tracking, and CRM-based coordination.
