Role Overview
We are seeking a Director of Learning and Development to lead the advancement of our training and performance frameworks. Reporting directly to the CEO, this strategic leadership position is responsible for designing, implementing, and continually enhancing Mantell Associates' learning and development activities. The role aims to foster an outstanding learning environment that supports consultants, managers, and emerging leaders to deliver excellent results throughout their careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement the global Learning & Development strategy for the company.
- Develop comprehensive training programs tailored for new employees, seasoned consultants, managerial, and senior leadership levels.
- Establish clear learning trajectories aligned with career growth opportunities across the organisation.
- Conduct engaging training sessions via classroom, virtual, and one-on-one coaching formats.
- Design leadership development initiatives to nurture future management talent.
- Collaborate with Directors to identify skill gaps and roll out targeted skill enhancement plans.
- Introduce and integrate innovative learning methodologies, digital platforms, and performance support tools.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through key performance indicators, employee performance metrics, and feedback.
- Work with Talent Acquisition to provide outstanding onboarding and induction experiences.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, coaching, and high achievement throughout the organisation.
- Ensure learning activities stay current with industry trends, best practices in recruitment, and company objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- Extensive experience in leading Learning & Development within recruitment, sales, or professional services sectors.
- Proven track record in developing and deploying impactful training programs.
- Strong background in coaching recruitment professionals and cultivating future leadership.
- Deep knowledge of recruitment processes, business development, and client management.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and coaching capabilities.
- Business acumen to connect learning outcomes with organisational performance.
- Genuine passion for talent development and building high-performing teams.
- Familiarity with modern learning technologies and blended learning approaches is a plus.
