Role Overview

The Director of Cybersecurity Alliances for Asia Pacific will report to the Executive Head of Cybersecurity (APAC). This position is pivotal in steering alliance programs with key cybersecurity technology partners to drive bookings growth and profitability across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cybersecurity alliance initiatives aligned to go-to-market strategies, targeting sustainable revenue growth.
• Drive regional sales pipelines, opportunity assessments, forecasting, and accelerate sales working closely with country sales and solution teams.
• Develop and nurture executive relationships with principal cybersecurity OEM partners.
• Coordinate joint business plans, co-investment ventures, and co-innovation efforts with strategic vendors and stakeholders.
• Maintain disciplined oversight of pipeline, backlog, forecast accuracy, and bookings related to OEM services and solutions.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and growth planning meetings with security OEMs and alliance collaborators.
• Promote partner-funded initiatives, rebates, incentives, and joint pipeline creation to boost revenue and profitability.
• Support and update comprehensive alliance solution and service blueprints as well as executive and competitive positioning presentations.
• Assist in strategic bids, major pursuit efforts, executive briefings, and client-focused workshops across Asia Pacific.
• Adapt continuously by learning new skills relevant to the cybersecurity practice and role requirements.
• Analyze client business processes and technical environments to act as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity matters.
• Engage in knowledge sharing within the APAC cybersecurity team to foster collective growth.
• Represent NTT DATA at executive partner meetings, advisory councils, and industry forums.
• Enhance market presence through thought leadership, success narratives, and professional networking.

Experience and Qualifications

• 12 to 15 years of experience in cybersecurity go-to-market roles.
• Degree or equivalent tertiary education in computer science, engineering, information security, or related fields.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC, SABSA, GIAC or equivalents are desirable.
• Vendor-specific security certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Checkpoint, Fortinet, CrowdStrike, Google, AWS, or related providers add value.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in matrix organizations and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Strong structured problem-solving, creativity, and communication skills including whiteboarding and documentation.
• Demonstrated success in revenue growth, strategic sales, and managing regional cybersecurity alliances.
• Experience leading large-scale multi-country projects and executive engagements within APAC.
• Excellent strategic thinking, business planning, financial acumen, and sales forecasting capabilities.
• Record of driving organizational change, innovation, and scalable growth.
