Role Overview

The Director of Business Transformation spearheads enterprise-wide transformation efforts aligned with strategic goals to enhance organizational efficiency and generate sustainable value. This leadership position is responsible for crafting and executing intricate, cross-departmental transformation programs that optimize scale, operational leverage, and performance. Collaborating intimately with business leaders and stakeholders, the role oversees transformation roadmaps integrating process, technology, and change management initiatives consistent with corporate priorities.

The Director proactively identifies and mitigates program risks, coordinates resources, and fosters transparent communications and accountability. By promoting collaboration, innovation, and informed decision-making, this position ensures impactful delivery of critical transformation initiatives and enduring organizational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and synchronize integrated transformation plans to align strategic goals, workstreams, resources, and milestones.
• Oversee comprehensive delivery of transformation projects, tracking progress against key milestones and performance indicators while removing obstacles to on-time, high-quality completion.
• Implement and govern tailored program management frameworks including decision-making, reporting, escalation, and performance review mechanisms, ensuring compliance and transparency.
• Coordinate both internal and external resources such as consultants, vendors, and subject-matter experts to guarantee alignment with priorities and accountability for deliverables.
• Maintain strong relationships with executives and teams, crafting communications that clarify objectives, risks, progress, and impact to foster stakeholder engagement and alignment.
• Manage budget tracking, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring to optimize investment outcomes and business value realization.
• Lead readiness activities for deployment including testing coordination, training capacity management, deployment planning, and business adoption preparation.
• Identify and address risks, dependencies, and constraints proactively, balancing operational and delivery risks with long-term scalability and organizational stability.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration by establishing operational rhythms, clarifying roles, supporting problem-solving, promoting accountability, and driving continuous improvement.
• Manage evolving program scope and requirements with stakeholders to ensure prioritization, alignment, and sustainable value delivery through an iterative approach.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, project management or finance is mandatory.
• 7 to 10+ years’ experience in business transformation, program or portfolio management within the energy sector, demonstrating leadership in dynamic and complex situations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude with an adaptable mindset and comprehensive knowledge of the renewable energy industry and technologies.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies like Value Engineering or Lean tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping) is beneficial but not essential.
• Data-driven decision-making focus, performance management skills, and commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Expertise with renewable energy products, industry trends, and major transformation or new product/project development initiatives.
• Exceptional communication abilities, including executive-level presentations and proficiency in navigating complex program dependencies and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong facilitation skills, collaborative spirit, independent work capability, and resilience in fast-paced environments are essential.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $137,000 and $186,000 annually, subject to factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and certifications. Additionally, full-time employees qualify for a structured bonus plan along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance coverage, voluntary benefits, family care support, paid leave, retirement savings plans with employer contributions, and employee referral incentives.
