직무 설명
Overview
We invite enthusiastic and driven dietitians to join our Band 5 rotational program, delivering care across inpatient and outpatient settings including specialties like respiratory, diabetes, surgery, elderly care, paediatrics, and oncology. This position offers a dynamic environment to expand your clinical knowledge and professional skills within our supportive team.
Role and Responsibilities
Primarily, the role focuses on inpatient care involving patients needing oral and enteral feeding across multiple specialties, along with opportunities to engage in outpatient dietetic clinics. Additional duties include educating nurses, medical staff, and patients, while collaborating closely with senior dietitians for mentorship and exposure to diverse dietetic areas. The team encourages innovation by promoting practice evaluation through audits, quality improvement projects, and resource development to sustain the department’s high standards. Student training participation is expected as part of our university collaborations.
Professional Development
The department prioritizes continuous professional development for its members by offering in-house training sessions and regular team-wide professional update meetings. We also connect with peers across Dorset through biannual education and networking events, enhancing knowledge exchange and growth.
Additional Information
The rotation base is Royal Bournemouth Hospital and/or Poole Hospital. Applicants should note the interview date is July 22 and early closure of applications may occur once sufficient candidates are received. The Trust is undergoing significant service transformations related to the New Hospital Programme, which may involve temporary or permanent site relocations. Excess mileage for relocated services will not be reimbursed; regular commuting rules apply.
Our Trust fosters diverse support networks such as Women’s, DEN, Pride, EU, Pro Ability, and Armed Forces groups and upholds inclusive interview schemes. Candidates are expected to provide truthful information during application processes as integrity is vital.
