Overview
SynergenX Health Holdings, LLC is looking for an entry-level IT Desktop Support Technician I to become part of their expanding IT team based in the Northwest Houston Corporate Office (77070). This role suits early-stage IT professionals eager to gain practical experience in providing support across a dynamic healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver initial-level technical assistance for Windows desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications like Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Carry out installation, configuration, and deployment of hardware and software components.
- Manage user accounts within Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
- Support workstation imaging, device provisioning, and onboarding processes for new employees.
- Maintain accurate hardware inventories and asset records.
- Log and document IT issues and their resolutions using the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT personnel as necessary.
- Assist with technology rollouts at clinic sites and hardware refresh initiatives.
- Provide excellent customer service supporting users from various business units.
Qualifications
- Up to one year of experience in IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support roles; internships and hands-on training accepted.
- Preferred associate degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fundamental understanding of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and computer hardware troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Willingness to quickly absorb new information and collaborate effectively with a team.
Preferred Skills
- CompTIA A+ certification or actively pursuing it.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with remote support tools and endpoint management technologies like Microsoft Autopilot.
- Basic proficiency in PowerShell scripting is a plus.
Work Schedule and Location
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday.
- Position requires full onsite presence at the Northwest Houston Corporate Office.
- May involve occasional travel to nearby clinic locations.
- Participation in after-hours support and special projects as business demands.
