About the Role
Join Sun Pharma as a Deputy General Manager in Accounts, based in Mumbai at Sun House. At Sun Pharma, we encourage employees to “Create your own sunshine” by nurturing continuous growth, leadership, and teamwork in an empowering workplace.
You will be part of the Global Finance and Accounts business unit, supporting financial operations and compliance with a focus on corporate accounting excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable processes including intercompany and inter-unit invoice booking.
- Perform reconciliation activities between different units.
- Coordinate GST annual reconciliation efforts, collaborating with the Payment (SSC) and Purchasing teams to resolve GST-related issues.
- Handle monthly and quarterly closing tasks, particularly Ex-India provision booking and analysis.
- Prepare MIS reports concerning Ex-India expenses.
- Monitor and manage the global Charts of Accounts.
- Utilize Excel proficiently for financial analysis and reporting.
- Apply foundational knowledge of GST and TDS compliance requirements.
- Operate SAP systems proficiently for accounting activities.
- Work with IND AS accounting standards knowledgeably.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Educational qualifications include MBA in Finance, CA intermediate, ICWA, CFA, M.Com, or an equivalent professional degree.
- Extensive corporate accounting experience of approximately 15 years is essential.
