As a Department Supervisor, you will play a key role in coaching, training, motivating, and inspiring team members to reach their full potential while fostering their professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Motivate and lead associates to develop meaningful relationships with customers and colleagues, ensuring exceptional service and driving sales through strong product knowledge and merchandising.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels in the department to meet business demands.
- Manage team performance by providing continuous feedback, facilitating communication, and recognizing achievements.
- Analyze sales and operational reports and collaborate with assistant managers to suggest improvements in inventory management, overhead organization, and cross-merchandising strategies.
- Ensure full stock availability and adherence to overhead organizational plans.
- Address customer concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
- Communicate store promotions, sales events, and initiatives through department meetings and team rallies.
- Uphold all safety and asset protection protocols, ensuring team awareness and compliance.
Candidate Profile
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- 1 to 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $23.45 to $25.70 per hour.
