About the Role
Domino's seeks Delivery Drivers who enjoy flexible work hours, whether looking for part-time, full-time, or supplementary income. This role involves ensuring timely and safe delivery of delicious pizza to customers within the service area.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive and process customer orders both via phone and in-person.
- Prepare pizza products and stock ingredients in storage, production, and walk-in coolers.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the facility daily.
- Distribute marketing materials to promote products.
- Communicate positively with customers and team members.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements and Skills
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record per company standards.
- Access to a properly insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
- Effective navigation skills to read maps and locate delivery addresses.
- Ability to deliver through challenging conditions such as multi-story buildings and adverse weather (rain, snow, sleet, high winds, hail).
- Positive attitude and willingness to comply with Domino's uniform and image standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Motivation to uphold quality standards, even in fast-paced environments.
- Basic math skills including quick addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (calculator may be used).
- Competence in making accurate monetary change.
- Familiarity with computer and touchscreen order entry systems.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to follow instructions promptly.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged standing during shifts.
- Frequent brisk walking or running between store, vehicle, and delivery points.
- Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds, rarely up to 50 pounds.
- Handling packages of varying sizes and weights during deliveries.
- Occasional ladder climbing for cleaning, maintenance, or sign changes.
- Navigation of flights of stairs (five or more) during deliveries when necessary.
- Regular crouching, bending, and reaching activities during product preparation, stocking, and cleaning.
