About the Role
Domino's Pizza is expanding and seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers to join our team in Brookland, AR. Our drivers enjoy flexible scheduling options, including part-time and full-time shifts, and have opportunities to earn over $20 per hour through a combination of wages, tips, and mileage reimbursement.
Job Overview
Delivery Drivers have the choice to use their personal vehicle, receiving mileage reimbursement to cover fuel and vehicle expenses, or alternatively, use one of the company vehicles if eligible (minimum age 21, clean driving record, and at least 2 years driving experience). Drivers benefit from advanced technology to enhance safe and efficient deliveries. Daily tip and mileage reimbursements are paid, with hourly wages disbursed biweekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pizzas and beverages promptly and safely within the designated area, sometimes requiring navigation of multiple flights of stairs.
- Employ safe driving practices during multiple daily deliveries.
- Carry and handle food orders while performing walking, climbing, and stooping tasks.
- Maintain quality control and provide excellent customer service.
Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and safe driving record (confirmed via motor vehicle report).
- Reliable vehicle and valid insurance required if using personal transportation.
- Strong navigational skills to locate delivery addresses effectively.
- Ability to follow directions, work independently and as part of a team, handle stress, perform repetitive tasks, and make sound judgments.
Working Conditions
- Exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions and temperature fluctuations, with store temperatures ranging from 36°F to above 90°F.
- Contact with food smells, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces (up to 500°F), sharp edges, and mechanical parts.
- Physical demands include walking, carrying, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, reaching (sometimes above 72 inches), and extensive hand use requiring coordination and strength.
- Communication skills via phone and sensory abilities including depth perception, and near, midrange, far, and night vision are essential.
