직무 설명
Job Summary
The Delivery Driver will be accountable for transporting goods safely, on time, and with the correct quantities, while delivering strong customer service and following road safety rules as well as company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Transport products to customers following the assigned route plan and delivery timetable.
- Handle loading and unloading carefully, making sure items remain secure throughout transit.
- Check delivery quantities, secure customer acknowledgements, and complete proof-of-delivery records.
- Perform daily inspections of the vehicle and promptly escalate any mechanical concerns.
- Keep the vehicle clean and carry out basic maintenance/housekeeping as needed.
- Comply with traffic laws, road safety requirements, and internal driving standards at all times.
- When required, receive cash, cheques, or other payments and follow the proper cash-control process.
- Notify the supervisor about shortages, damages, delivery mismatches, or customer-related concerns.
- Maintain a professional image while interacting with customers at delivery points.
Qualifications & Experience
- A valid driver’s licence and a spotless driving record are required.
- Applicants should have 2 to 3 years of experience in delivery driving, ideally within FMCG or distribution.
- A solid understanding of local roads, routes, and transport networks is important.
