About the Role
Join the Distribution team at Bridgend Distribution Centre as a valued member of the furniture delivery crew. This role is perfect for those who enjoy being outdoors and on the move, helping bring furniture and smiles to customers’ doorsteps. You will play a critical role supporting the delivery driver, ensuring furniture is safely transported, unloaded, and assembled in customers' homes.
Key Duties
- Carry out careful delivery and installation of furniture inside customers' residences.
- Assist Delivery Driver in adhering to scheduled drop-offs, making several deliveries each day.
- Collaborate with the distribution centre team on loading and unloading furniture from vehicles.
- Provide outstanding customer service and actively encourage customer feedback.
- Conduct quality checks to maintain team safety standards.
- Perform physically demanding tasks involving heavy lifting.
- Work a 46-hour week over 4 days with Sundays off.
Candidate Profile
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures accurately.
- Committed to achieving excellent customer satisfaction.
- Physically capable of handling manual labor including heavy lifting.
- Hardworking, reliable team player.
- Experience in warehouse settings is advantageous but not essential.
- Holding a valid driving license is desirable.
