Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Databricks Technical Trainer to facilitate engaging virtual training sessions focused on Databricks and Apache Spark technology. This role involves tailoring instructional content to meet client demands, conducting interactive workshops, and helping learners develop expertise in data engineering and data science workflows using Databricks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual training on Databricks, Apache Spark, and associated technologies.
- Adapt course materials according to specific client needs and industry cases.
- Lead hands-on workshops, lab sessions, and interactive Q&A discussions.
- Assist learners in mastering foundational and advanced concepts of data engineering and data science within Databricks.
- Keep abreast of new Databricks updates, features, and best industry practices.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers by providing feedback to improve training content.
- Support sales initiatives by delivering product demonstrations and webinars as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an instructor or trainer in data analytics, engineering, or cloud computing domains.
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on practice with Databricks, Apache Spark, and PySpark.
- Strong proficiency in data engineering concepts, SQL, Python, and big data tools.
- Knowledge of cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience delivering technical training to adult professionals or corporate audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications like Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or Spark certifications are advantageous.
- Prior experience mentoring or teaching in a technical setting.
- Capability to design training content and practical lab exercises.
