Data Scientist

Overview

This role is suited to someone who thrives on learning, working with data at scale, and moving quickly. The position calls for strong collaboration skills and the ability to turn highly complex datasets into practical insights by asking sharp questions and uncovering meaningful answers.

What you will do

• Examine raw datasets by checking their quality, cleaning them up, and organizing them for later processing.
• Build prediction models that are accurate and able to scale effectively.
• Work closely with the engineering team to move analytical prototypes into production environments.
• Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations that support business improvement.

Qualification requirements

• A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent hands-on experience, in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of predictive modeling, machine learning, clustering, classification, and related algorithms.
• Comfort working in at least one programming language, such as Python.
• Working familiarity with big data ecosystems and visualization platforms, including Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, and Tableau.
