Key Responsibilities

• Design and roll out organization-wide data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Set up and maintain processes for data ownership, stewardship, quality control, and lifecycle handling.
• Support adherence to data privacy laws, security requirements, and relevant industry standards.
• Drive improvements in data quality and track governance performance indicators.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to enhance data management practices.
• Oversee metadata, master data, and data catalog initiatives.
• Perform governance reviews and suggest practical process enhancements.
• Encourage a strong data-driven mindset and promote governance best practices throughout the organization.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or information management.
• A solid grasp of governance models, policy frameworks, and compliance expectations.
• Experience using tools for data governance, metadata management, and data quality.
• Familiarity with databases, data warehousing, analytics, and business intelligence setups.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Professional certifications in data management or governance are considered an advantage.
