Role Overview
The Data and Reporting Analyst is tasked with delivering dependable business intelligence and analytics to empower organizational success. This position focuses on creating and maintaining high-quality reports and interactive dashboards that are visually intuitive, precise, and aligned with the strategic needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations utilizing Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable analytics.
- Ensure that all reporting deliverables are accurate, timely, and tailored for their intended purpose.
- Provide analytical support enabling informed strategic and operational decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assure data accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout the reporting systems.
- Identify, investigate, and address data discrepancies and quality issues effectively.
- Create and maintain SQL Server queries, views, and stored procedures instrumental to reporting activities.
- Advocate and support governance frameworks and best practices related to data management.
- Serve as a liaison with business users to understand and refine reporting requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert for resolving data and reporting inquiries.
- Present insights and analytics clearly and accessibly, avoiding technical jargon where possible.
