Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site Data Analyst position based in Qatar. The selected professional will gather, cleanse, verify, and organize data from a mix of internal and external sources to help business teams make better decisions. The position focuses on developing reports and dashboards, studying sales, operational, and customer information, and turning those findings into practical recommendations for management.

The role requires close coordination with different departments to define data needs, track key performance indicators, and uncover trends, risks, and opportunities. It also involves documenting data-handling workflows, upholding data quality standards, and carrying out ad hoc analysis for strategic projects and ongoing process improvement. The candidate will also travel between company locations and spend time observing processes in order to identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Gather data from a range of internal and external sources and ensure it is accurate, complete, and usable.
• Clean, validate, and organize datasets for analysis and reporting.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visual tools for business review.
• Analyze sales, operations, and customer information to surface meaningful business insights.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for management and stakeholders.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and data requirements.
• Monitor key performance indicators and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong ability to analyze data, including collection, cleaning, validation, and interpretation.
• Working knowledge of data tools and languages such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with reporting or BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or comparable platforms.
• Capability to create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that clearly communicate insights.
• Exposure to sales, operations, or customer data in retail, electronics, or a similar commercial setting is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Excellent problem-solving ability, strong attention to detail, and comfort working with large datasets under time pressure.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate in a multicultural, cross-functional workplace and work on-site in Qatar.
• Useful but not mandatory: familiarity with database concepts, data modeling, and basic ETL processes.
• Experience in the GCC region and understanding of the Qatar market are beneficial, though not required.
