Role Overview

This position is a full-time Daily Cleaner role based in Calgary, Alberta, with a hybrid work setup allowing certain tasks like scheduling and reporting to be done remotely when feasible. Responsibilities include carrying out everyday cleaning activities at designated residential and commercial locations, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing areas like washrooms, kitchens, and common areas.

Additional duties involve emptying garbage and recycling bins, restocking supplies, cleaning windows and floors, and properly maintaining cleaning equipment according to company protocols. The role requires strict adherence to checklists, health, and safety standards and includes reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages to supervisors. The Daily Cleaner should efficiently manage time, respect client premises, and support the team in delivering trustworthy, high-standard cleaning services.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficiency in general cleaning and sanitation tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom upkeep.
• Basic understanding of cleaning agents, equipment usage, and safe chemical handling.
• Ability to effectively manage time and follow detailed schedules, checklists, and instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities to maintain professional relations with clients, supervisors, and colleagues.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to upholding high cleanliness and safety standards.
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles in commercial or residential contexts is advantageous.
• Physical capability to stand for prolonged periods, lift moderate weights, and work in varying environments.
• Dependability, punctuality, and a valid driver’s license or other reliable transportation for reaching client sites is preferred.
