About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze threat actors including APT groups to understand their motivations, tools, tactics, malware usage, and command and control infrastructure while identifying their target sectors.
- Conduct continuous research on emerging cyber threats, analyze diverse threat intelligence data to detect potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and deliver one tactical advisory weekly and one strategic advisory biweekly; ensure timely processing of advisories from regulatory and strategic entities.
- Provide prioritized, contextual intelligence feeds to protect critical assets via integration with security infrastructures.
- Collaborate closely with Threat Hunting, Red Team, and SOC Content Development groups to design and implement detection use cases.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders, maintaining thorough weekly documentation and profiling of threat actors.
- Monitor dark web activities and keep threat intelligence and dark web monitoring trackers updated in near real-time to identify any data breaches, especially concerning banking information.
- Classify intelligence into Strategic, Tactical, Operational, or Technical categories and ensure its appropriate dissemination to relevant consumers.
- Meet all audit and compliance requirements promptly, maintaining meticulous and error-free documentation.
- Evaluate potential third-party threat intelligence providers via efficacy testing following industry standards.
- Track and manage open alerts and advisories, escalating issues when necessary, and actively respond to intelligence reports from partners.
- Conduct regular internal training sessions to enhance team knowledge and share up-to-date threat intelligence insights.
- Gather threat data from multiple sources including malicious IPs/domains, open-source intelligence (OSINT), social media, and vulnerability databases containing personally identifiable information.
- Use security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS alongside threat intelligence and incident response practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Preferred certifications include CTIA and GCTI.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in the cybersecurity domain, particularly in threat intelligence analysis.
- Strong understanding of advanced persistent threat (APT) groups, their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and the broader threat landscape.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms, OSINT tools, and dark web monitoring techniques.
- Knowledge of malware analysis methods, command and control infrastructure, and attack strategies.
- Ability to craft strategic and tactical advisories and effectively communicate security findings to various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Security Operations Center (SOC) processes, detection content development, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent skills in analysis, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Additional Information
This position requires working from the Hyderabad office. The professional must adhere to all compliance and audit timelines and maintain high accuracy in documentation.
