Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated customer service professional with a full New Zealand driver’s license and enthusiasm for automotive parts. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and assist customers in selecting the appropriate parts for their needs. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with alternate Saturday mornings required.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing excellent service to trade customers both at the counter and via phone
- Assisting customers in identifying and selecting the correct vehicle parts and solutions
- Accurately picking, packing, and processing customer orders
- Identifying opportunities to upsell or recommend complementary products
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with returning customers
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in the automotive or trade industries
- Proficient computer skills, with basic knowledge of Excel being beneficial
- Genuine interest or passion for cars or automotive parts
- Strong communication abilities and a positive, proactive attitude
- Capacity to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to collaborate and contribute
