Role Overview
This full-time position in Düsseldorf requires a committed Customer Service Agent responsible for serving as the primary liaison for customers and travel agencies. The role involves providing detailed advice on flights, hotels, and travel plans across multiple communication platforms, including phone and email. The agent supports customers throughout their journey to ensure a seamless travel experience while cooperating closely with internal departments and external partners. Excellent communication and tourism expertise will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the company’s reputation.
Candidate Profile
The preferred applicant will have completed commercial vocational training coupled with relevant tourism industry experience. Proven telephone customer service skills and a dedication to exceptional client assistance are essential. Fluent and professional German language proficiency, solid communication skills, and a working knowledge of English are required. Familiarity with travel agencies, tour operators, and booking systems such as Toma, Amadeus, Bistro Portal, and WBS-Blank is advantageous. Candidates should display a proactive mindset, problem-solving capacity, and a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities
- Professionally represent Anex Tour on all customer contact channels, including phone, email, and digital platforms.
- Offer detailed travel advice and booking support covering flights, hotels, and package tours.
- Serve as the main point of contact for travel agencies regarding Anex Tour’s products and services.
- Provide proactive support to customers before and during their trips to ensure satisfaction.
- Efficiently manage inquiries, delivering timely, precise information and solutions.
- Handle new bookings, amendments, and reservations with accuracy and attention.
- Stay informed about current travel products, systems, and market developments.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve any customer concerns and enhance service quality.
