Credit Risk Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Manager to join our team in Mumbai. The individual will be responsible for managing computation and oversight of Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) compliant with regulatory mandates, conducting stress testing on credit portfolios, and facilitating collaboration with IT and Operations teams to ensure data integrity for risk calculations.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate and monitor Risk Weighted Assets in conformity with regulatory standards.
• Execute stress tests on the credit portfolio to evaluate impacts under diverse scenarios.
• Liaise with IT, Operations, and other relevant stakeholders to guarantee the availability, accuracy, and consistency of data essential for RWA and risk assessments.
• Contribute to the deployment and enhancement of frameworks for risk measurement and reporting within enterprise risk management.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and other regulatory frameworks associated with Capital Adequacy, Basel norms, and CRAR calculations.
• Support the preparation of regulatory filings, internal management information systems, and presentations to management concerning credit and enterprise risk.
• Engage in automation and process optimization initiatives targeting risk data aggregation and reporting tasks.

Desired Skills and Competencies

• Sound knowledge of banking operations and principles of credit risk.
• Understanding of RBI regulations, Basel guidelines, and capital adequacy requirements.
• Strong analytical aptitude with keen attention to detail.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including IT and Operations.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with risk reporting technologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
