The working hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM local time.

Role Summary

The Credentialing Specialist plays a crucial role in the Revenue Cycle Department, responsible for creating and maintaining credentialing and renewal records for our providers.

Key Duties

• Adhere to and update credentialing and clinic licensure policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and current reports on provider credentialing statuses.
• Ensure all clinic details are correctly listed in payer directories.
• Process credentialing applications, verify details, research as needed, and complete all steps promptly.
• Keep credential databases and online platforms updated with provider information.
• Monitor credentials and licensure of staff members.
• Collaborate with Credentialing Manager and billing team to address denials or authorization issues related to credentialing.
• Complete payer-issued revalidation requests.
• Maintain a positive and proactive attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in billing and credentialing.
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA operational standards.
• Experience with major payer portals and CAQH platform management.
• Strong communication skills for email, messaging platforms, and face-to-face interactions.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within and outside the department.
• Detail-oriented with capability to manage complex data accurately.
• Competent with technology appropriate to the role.
• Reliable access to high-speed internet.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Compensation

The hourly pay rate is $22.50 USD.
