About The Role
We are seeking a Videographer / Editor intern to join our team and support film and photography productions. The role involves assisting on set and behind the scenes, editing and producing visual material, conducting mood research, and aiding the creative workflow from concept through to final delivery.
This position offers a hands-on chance to acquire experience in both production and post-production areas while working closely with Directors and camera crews in a dynamic and team-driven environment.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
- Capture, review, and edit video footage, including basic color grading, for company projects such as behind-the-scenes clips and mood films.
- Support the camera team and Director during filming sessions.
- Develop visual content and assets that communicate the company’s message.
- Research cinematic visual moods drawing from films, photography, and other media.
- Design layouts for treatment documents and Director Interpretations.
- Analyze and understand scripts to grasp the Director’s vision.
- Provide production team assistance during peak periods as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Currently enrolled at university with a mandatory internship component ideally lasting six months and eligible to work in Germany.
- Experience operating professional video and camera equipment both in studio and on location.
- Proficient in professional video editing with some experience in color grading considered advantageous.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and adaptability to match diverse visual styles aligned with the company’s aesthetic.
- Skilled with Mac-based Adobe software, including Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Self-driven, well-organized, communicative, creative, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in German is a bonus.
