It also supports franchise partners with brand guidance, tools, and resources to help them grow successful boutiques while balancing business ownership with a love for trend-forward retail.
Role Summary
The Creative Director will shape and protect the overall visual direction for Monkee’s Franchising LLC. This hybrid position is based in Raleigh, NC, with some flexibility to work from home. The role ensures brand consistency across boutiques, digital channels, and marketing initiatives while turning business goals into creative execution.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will guide the creative vision across multiple touchpoints, from campaigns and social content to in-store visuals and brand assets. You will partner with marketing, franchise operations, buying teams, and boutique owners to develop concepts that align with business objectives. The position also includes directing photo shoots, reviewing and refining creative work, managing production timelines, and holding vendors and designers to high quality standards.
Qualifications
Applicants should bring at least 3 years of relevant experience and a strong foundation in creative direction, creative strategy, branding, and graphic design. Hands-on familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools is expected when design support is needed. Experience in fashion, retail, or lifestyle brands is preferred, especially with an understanding of boutique shoppers. Strong presentation, communication, collaboration, project management, and attention-to-detail skills are also important. A bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related area is preferred, though equivalent experience will also be considered.
