Counter Sales Executive

About the Role

We are seeking four motivated Counter Sales Executives to join our sales outlet located in Yelahanka, Bangalore. Candidates should have completed at least 10th or 12th grade; those with a basic diploma in hospitality or related studies will be considered favorably. Applicants may have zero to two years of experience in retail, food and beverage services, or similar customer-focused positions.

Primary Duties

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner.
• Promote daily specials, seasonal offerings, and recommend complementary products to increase sales per customer.
• Handle custom and bulk orders for items such as cakes, pastries, and corporate event catering, ensuring accuracy before submission to the kitchen.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, process payments using cash, card, or UPI, and reconcile cash registers after shifts.
• Display baked products attractively, monitor freshness, rotate inventory using FIFO methods, and remove expired merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by regularly sanitizing counters and display cases to present a welcoming store environment.
• Communicate with the store manager about inventory levels and collaborate with the baking team to maintain stock of popular products.

Requirements

• Minimum education: 10th or 12th pass; diploma in hospitality or similar is advantageous.
• Up to two years of experience in retail, food & beverage, or customer service roles.
• Effective verbal communication skills in English and local languages.
• Basic proficiency in mathematics.
• Experience or ability to work with POS systems.
