Cost Manager

About the Role

Currie & Brown is seeking a skilled Cost Manager with experience in procurement to join our expanding team based in Abu Dhabi. This role involves supporting project leaders to ensure high-quality service delivery, successful client outcomes, knowledge sharing across projects, fostering innovation, and strengthening our reputation as a top-tier service provider.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide precise cost advice and generate comprehensive reports for clients.
• Manage and deliver projects, commissions, and professional assignments efficiently.
• Maintain clear and effective communication to ensure accessibility of crucial information for project completion, coordinating with other managers for robust financial oversight.
• Perform cost management duties collaboratively within the team.
• Complete all assigned work accurately and within established timelines.
• Assist team and service leaders in cost management activities across projects.
• Represent Currie & Brown professionally, fostering strong client relationships.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Prior experience in procurement is a mandatory requirement.
• Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) is preferred but not compulsory.
• Technical delivery experience obtained within an international consultancy firm is required.
• Previous work experience in the Middle East region.
• Comfortable engaging in direct client-facing roles.
• Highly organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, disciplined, and commercially aware.
