Job Description
- The role requires 10 to 15 years of experience administering Oracle databases with Exadata on UNIX/Linux platforms, focusing on high availability and performance-critical systems.
- Candidates must have 5 to 6 years of leadership experience managing DBA teams across multiple platforms, overseeing stakeholder expectations and daily operational and project activities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Experience working on AGILE projects and knowledge of ITIL principles, preferably with ITIL certification, is required.
- Responsibilities include installation, configuration, upgrading, migration, monitoring, and full administration of production Oracle databases critical to business operations.
- Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in high-pressure environments, while handling multiple demands.
- In-depth expertise in Oracle Database concepts with strong skills in performance tuning is mandatory.
- Proficiency in using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for database monitoring and management.
- Capability to analyze requirements, recommend, and implement robust solutions ensuring database high availability and stability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills must be demonstrated.
- Experience working with Oracle security tools such as Data Vault, Key Vault, and database firewalls, designing and maintaining database security aligned with compliance standards.
- Advanced skills in SQL query tuning, RMAN backup, and recovery processes.
- Expertise managing Real Application Clusters (RAC), including patching, handling standby databases via Oracle Data Guard, and troubleshooting clustering environments.
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 operational environment including participating in on-call rotations.
- Availability to work during US business hours is required.
- Experience automating routine DBA tasks through scripting is necessary.

Shift Timings: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST
Notice Period: Only immediate joiners will be considered
Max CTC: 3.5 million INR
