Job Description

The Construction Site Manager or Construction Coordinator is responsible for organizing, managing, and coordinating construction activities at the site in accordance with approved project documentation and the construction schedule. This role ensures spatial alignment with construction documentation, compliance with general technical construction requirements, and adherence to occupational health and safety regulations. The manager decides the start and completion of individual construction tasks and issues instructions regarding work execution, site organization, and movement of personnel.

They inspect and approve construction materials, determine their suitability, and oversee their placement and storage on site. The manager has the authority to halt construction activities if obstacles arise that make continuation unsafe or improper. They coordinate the sequence of construction works, manage unauthorized personnel removal, and oversee major construction projects, maintaining records in the construction logbook. This position holds a key role in ensuring public interest protection in construction activities.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in relevant construction roles.
Education: High school diploma with graduation, post-secondary vocational education, bachelor's degree, master's degree, or doctoral degree.
Language: Expert proficiency (C2) in Slovak or Czech.
Technical Skills: Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
Certificates: Valid driving license for category B vehicles as per relevant legislation and certification of special professional competence for construction site management.
