Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 12 to 15 years in construction, with at least 5 years as a Construction Manager focused on upscale fit-out assignments.
  • Demonstrated history in handling luxury hospitality, high-end residential, commercial interiors, palatial structures, villas, upscale retail, or landmark projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of premium interior finishes, custom joinery, natural stone work, decorative surface treatments, and intricate architectural details.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple specialist subcontractors on complex fit-out projects.
  • Expertise in construction scheduling, procurement protocols, quality assurance/control, and health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Strong leadership, effective communication, and capacity to manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience within the GCC region is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily project deliverables, issuing accurate Time and Motion data and Installation efficiency targets to the team.
  • Ensure timely distribution of method statements, risk assessments, and DSTI schedules to relevant personnel for site operations; maintain up-to-date drawings and materials plans.
  • Confirm all method statements and risk assessments comply with company HSE and QA/QC policies as well as client specifications; maintain documentation on accessible platforms and monitor compliance related to testing, commissioning, warranties, and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers to manage procurement and long-lead item schedules, tracking deliveries and addressing any issues that may delay program milestones.
  • Control dissemination of contractual documentation, ensuring all relevant teams receive accurate and usable information to meet contractual requirements within program timelines; promptly communicate scope changes to Project Engineers and Commercial teams.
  • Maintain detailed daily site logs pertaining to constraints, material needs, and workflow; conduct audits to ensure minimal required resources and tooling are available at all times; actively liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Track labor and staff performance records, foster safe and productive work environments, evaluate workforce effectively, and encourage a zero-defect, accident-free culture within the project delivery team.
