About The Role
Join the Local Laws and Parking division as a Compliance Officer, where you'll conduct investigations that support adherence to local laws and relevant State legislation. Your core duties include investigating community compliance and licensing matters in line with established policies, engaging with the public via phone, site visits, and reception services with strong customer focus, and inspecting properties while communicating with owners or occupants about legislative breaches.
Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to carry out investigations and make informed decisions based on legislation, policy directives, and evidence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with confidence managing challenging situations effectively.
- Resilience and adaptability, paired with a collaborative approach within a team environment.
- Possession of a current C class driver's license.
- Certified with Certificate IV in Government Investigations or possess equivalent extensive experience.
- Possess a valid construction card.
- Alignment with organizational values including safety and wellbeing, transparent communication, teamwork, integrity, efficiency, and leadership.
