Job Summary
AL BAKER GROUP is looking for a Compliance Officer to join its pharmaceutical operations in Doha, Qatar. This position calls for 4 to 6 years of relevant industry experience and focuses on maintaining adherence to regulatory obligations, internal policies, Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and principal compliance expectations. The role plays a key part in audits, monitoring, risk control, and quality management so that ethical and regulatory standards remain consistently high.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain alignment with pharmaceutical regulations, GDP requirements, and internal company procedures.
- Assist with internal and external audits, inspections, and broader compliance evaluations.
- Oversee compliance records, SOPs, and quality-related documentation to keep them current and complete.
- Follow up on compliance observations and help drive CAPA actions through to closure.
- Carry out compliance checks, risk reviews, and ongoing monitoring tasks.
- Help organize compliance training sessions and awareness initiatives.
- Support compliance obligations related to principals, including oversight of vendors and third-party partners.
- Draft compliance reports and ensure regulatory files and records are properly maintained.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is required.
- Applicants should have 4–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical compliance, quality assurance, or regulatory affairs.
- Strong working knowledge of GDP, pharmaceutical regulations, audit processes, and quality systems is necessary.
- Good analytical ability, documentation accuracy, and communication skills are expected.
