Company Driver

Role Overview

This position involves a full-time, on-site driving role based in Satellite Town, Lagos State. The individual will be tasked with the safe operation of the company vehicle, ensuring secure transportation of equipment and materials among assigned locations. Compliance with all traffic laws and safety guidelines is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure operational safety.
• Maintaining cleanliness and good working condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Reporting any mechanical or maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Transporting equipment and materials reliably and securely between locations as scheduled.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven driving skills with a history of safe and dependable vehicle operation.
• Possession of a valid driving license with a clean driving record.
• Good communication and customer interaction abilities to maintain professional conduct with team members and clients.
• Familiarity with truck safety standards, basic vehicle maintenance checks, and company or road traffic regulations.
• Prior experience in logistics or transportation roles is advantageous.
• Knowledge of local geography, including routes around Festac and Amuwo-Odofin, is beneficial.
• Capability to handle moderate physical loads and basic record-keeping.
• Exhibiting punctuality, reliability, keen attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions and cooperate within a team environment.
