Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Community Engagement Manager to spearhead the planning and implementation of community engagement strategies, partnership programs, and outreach activities. The successful candidate will cultivate robust relationships with community groups, government bodies, nonprofits, customers, and internal teams while spearheading programs that align with our goals and make measurable community impacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute community engagement and outreach strategies aligned with company goals.
- Establish and sustain relationships with community organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, nonprofit groups, local leaders, and strategic partners.
- Lead community-related initiatives, volunteer programs, corporate social responsibility activities, sponsorships, partnerships, and public engagement efforts.
- Work collaboratively across departments such as Corporate Communications, Marketing, HR, Operations, Sustainability, Public Affairs, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to implement effective community programs.
- Organize and oversee community events, workshops, public consultations, awareness drives, and engagement activities.
- Identify community needs and partnership opportunities through research, surveys, feedback collection, and ongoing dialogues.
- Track key performance indicators including stakeholder participation, community satisfaction, program effectiveness, partnership growth, volunteer involvement, and social impact.
- Manage community budgets, sponsorship deals, grants, contracts, and resource distribution to optimize program outcomes.
- Create communication collateral such as newsletters, presentations, impact reports, and success stories showcasing community achievements and organizational contributions.
- Ensure all community initiatives comply with company policies, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Utilize CRM software, community engagement tools, Microsoft Office, Power BI, social media platforms, and analytics tools to monitor engagement and evaluate results.
- Prepare executive-level reports, community impact assessments, partnership updates, and strategic recommendations.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and development for community engagement staff, volunteers, and cross-functional teams while cultivating a culture of inclusiveness, collaboration, accountability, and continuous progress.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Community Development, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or related field.
- Advanced qualifications such as a Master’s degree or professional certifications in Community Engagement, CSR, Public Relations, Project Management, or similar areas are a plus.
- At least five years of professional experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, CSR, public affairs, communications, or similar functions.
- Minimum of two years managing community programs, partnerships, outreach projects, or stakeholder engagement teams is preferable.
- Deep understanding of community engagement practices, partnership building, public relations, stakeholder management, event planning, and CSR.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, community engagement platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, social media management, and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with sustainability initiatives, government relations, nonprofit collaborations, volunteer management, and social impact assessment is beneficial.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, presentation, negotiation, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of handling multiple community initiatives simultaneously, balancing stakeholder needs, organizational priorities, budgets, and outcomes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely or in hybrid settings, willing to attend events and meetings as necessary.
