We are seeking a Communications Manager to support our operations in the Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) region, based in Berlin and reporting directly to the Director of Communications, DACH. This role will help amplify Netflix’s presence and positive reputation across all three countries by designing and implementing communication strategies that emphasize Netflix's contributions—from local creative outputs to industry innovation and global successes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with internal teams including Content, Global Affairs, Publicity, and Marketing to shape compelling stories that demonstrate Netflix's broad impact.
• Engage with media and influential opinion leaders to articulate Netflix's role in the entertainment landscape of the DACH region.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least 12 years of experience in corporate communications, ideally in entertainment, media, or consumer goods sectors.
• Strong insight into how fandom and cultural trends influence corporate reputation.
• Established relationships with traditional and new media outlets as well as key opinion leaders in German-speaking countries.
• Proven track record in creating and leading successful communication campaigns.
• Exceptional writing and communication abilities in both German and English.
• Sound judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and a results-oriented approach.
• Capacity to adapt and flourish in a fast-evolving environment and openness to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• A self-motivated, independent work style combined with effective teamwork skills.
• A good sense of humor is also valued.
