Commercial Manager (Sales & Marketing)

Overview

Gulf Helicopters Company is inviting applications for the role of Commercial Manager to drive business growth and handle strategic commercial functions within the aviation and helicopter services sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the preparation and submission of bids, tenders, and proposals related to aviation and helicopter operations.
• Negotiate and oversee customer contracts, ensuring proper administration of commercial agreements.
• Formulate pricing strategies, develop commercial models, and build detailed business cases to support sales initiatives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to boost company revenue.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to provide competitive and compliant commercial solutions.
• Manage contract renewals, variations, claims processing, and assess commercial risks associated with agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in commercial roles, especially within the helicopter, rotary-wing, or aviation industries.
• Demonstrated expertise in handling bid and tender processes, contract negotiations, and contract administration.
• Strong commercial insight accompanied by excellent negotiation skills and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with contracts involving offshore, government, defense, EMS, SAR, or wider aviation services is beneficial.
