Job Overview
This position requires completion of duties on-site at a designated physical location in Delta, British Columbia, Canada. The role demands a minimum educational qualification of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and approximately 7 to 11 months of relevant experience. Fluency in English is essential.
Primary Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish various types of floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture efficiently.
- Make beds and replace sheets to ensure guest or facility readiness.
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries as required.
- Clean, sanitize, and polish fixtures and appliances in kitchens and bathrooms.
- Disinfect operating rooms along with other designated areas in compliance with hygiene protocols.
- Clean and disinfect elevator interiors.
- Manage and report lost and found items appropriately.
- Provide basic information about the facility when requested.
- Perform minor repairs such as mending clothing and linens.
- Execute light housekeeping and cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Shop for food and household supplies when necessary to support operational needs.
