Job Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Civil Engineer/Resident Engineer in overseeing and managing the technical execution of project activities.
- Evaluate shop and as-built drawings carefully and conduct routine site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and identify any issues, suggesting corrective measures as needed.
- Lead and manage Inspectors and Surveyors throughout the construction and implementation phases.
- Track contractor progress and supervise site operations, including managing contractor personnel and equipment deployment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to address project challenges effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to ensure timely project delivery.
- At least 8 years of civil engineering experience with extensive industry expertise.
- Proven competency in structural design with significant projects in infrastructure, buildings, and airports.
- Proficient with AutoCAD and BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Civil 3D, including experience in reviewing and coordinating BIM models across disciplines.
- Experience working in BIM-enabled environments, including model coordination, clash detection, and BIM deliverables review.
