Position Overview
We have immediate openings for Civil CAD Technicians/Drafters at various experience levels, from entry to senior, based in our Woods Cross, Utah office. The role involves engaging in diverse projects across public and private sectors requiring the creation and conceptualization of detailed drawings and related documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, Surveyors, and other team members to develop and produce civil site layouts, residential community designs, utility plans, grading, stormwater management, water/wastewater systems, and roadway project drawings.
- Create topographic surveys and civil engineering base drawings for boundary delineations, ALTA surveys, and platting projects.
- Maintain organized project files ensuring compliance with CADD standards.
- Support project managers in preparing quantity take-offs, cost estimations, and project submission documents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Formal training in CAD, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Between 1 and 10 years of relevant experience within civil engineering fields preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel applications.
- High level of consistency and precision in deliverables.
- Positive demeanor and ability to function effectively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Willingness to work beyond standard business hours if necessary.
