Daily Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trusting and positive relationships with children.
• Create a secure and nurturing home-like environment.
• Assist children with their educational, health, and emotional needs.
• Promote independence, confidence, and resilience in young people.
• Encourage participation in new experiences and opportunities.
• Support children in expressing their feelings, aspirations, and wishes.
• Utilize trauma-informed care approaches to enhance emotional wellbeing.
• Collaborate closely with Managers, Therapists, Outdoor Specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to drive positive outcomes.
• Senior roles include mentoring peers, exemplifying best practices, and ensuring high standards of care throughout the home.

Candidate Profile

• Experience working with children, youth, or vulnerable individuals in relevant settings such as care, education, youth work, healthcare, or support services.
• Resilience and a positive attitude toward overcoming challenges.
• Effective communication skills and a genuine dedication to supporting children's growth and potential.
• Commitment to obtaining a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare if not already qualified.
• Must be 21 years or older or nearing that age due to regulatory requirements in residential childcare.
• Eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship is not provided.
• Possession of a full UK driving license and willingness to drive to facilitate children's access to essential people and experiences.
