Role Overview

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO), positioned onsite in Plano, TX and reporting directly to the CEO, is tasked with steering the company's technology direction and strategies. This senior leader manages the development and delivery of software, system, and product offerings aligned with business aims and customer needs in the satcom domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technology strategy formulation and execution to support company objectives.
• Oversee engineering and product development teams ensuring design, build, and deployment of complex technical solutions.
• Establish architectural standards and technology roadmaps for scalable and secure satcom infrastructure.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, project managers, and customers to prioritize technological initiatives and manage risks.
• Drive innovation and maintain the company’s competitive edge within the industry.
• Recruit and develop high-caliber technical teams, managing technology-related budgets.
• Ensure adherence to security protocols, regulatory mandates, and industry standards across all technological efforts.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven expertise in product development leading teams designing, building, testing, and deploying sophisticated technical solutions.
• Strong background in RF engineering, technology roadmapping, and development of scalable, secure system architectures.
• Robust project management experience handling multi-disciplinary programs with timeline and budget oversight.
• Extensive leadership experience in technology organizations, skilled in mentorship, collaboration facilitation, and cross-functional coordination.
• Prior exposure to satellite communications, defense, aerospace, or similar high-tech sectors highly valued.
• Exceptional communication abilities to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-expert stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline required; advanced degrees such as MS or MBA preferred.
