This company, supported by prominent investment partners renowned for fostering category-leading technology ventures, seeks a Founder-CEO to shepherd the business from its initial momentum toward market leadership. The platform launched successfully and currently attracts over 40 warm leads from private equity firms eager for product demos. The CEO will take ownership of the company’s commercial trajectory and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement commercial strategies focused on mid-market private equity clients.
• Convert inbound interest into closed deals and nurture expanding investor networks.
• Lead sales efforts personally, establishing scalable go-to-market processes.
• Guide product roadmap decisions informed by actionable insights and centered on service delivery rather than traditional SaaS models.
• Form the foundational team and operational structure to support growth.
• Steer the organization to achieve and sustain category dominance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Professional background in private equity, investment management, commercial diligence, or data-centric B2B services.
• Hands-on experience analyzing diligence documentation or collaborating directly with private equity deal teams.
• Proven commercial acumen paired with strong deal-closing capabilities.
• Entrepreneurial drive with a history of thriving in early-stage or rapidly expanding enterprises.
• Effective leadership across commercial, strategic, and product-related functions.
• Comfort with data and analytics outputs; no hands-on technical development required.
• Based in New York City initially to closely engage with the founding group and gain comprehensive understanding of the product and service.
