Role Overview

We are looking for a kitchen chef to manage the entire morning prep alone in our Abu Dhabi kitchen. This is an independent role where you will be responsible for preparing all salad and fruit bowls to Neto’s exacting standards, ensuring quality, portion control, and hygiene without a team under your supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, and weigh all salad and fruit bowls each morning according to specifications
• Uphold Neto’s standards for fresh ingredients, accurate portions, and neat presentation
• Conduct kitchen prep independently including mise en place, portion control, and output management
• Inspect ingredient quality and reject anything not meeting standards
• Liaise with suppliers to coordinate daily ingredient procurement and deliveries
• Manage stock levels diligently to reduce waste and maintain inventory accuracy
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
• Assist management in new menu development and seasonal ingredient updates
• Keep the kitchen clean, compliant, and ready for audits

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in salad, fresh food, or deli-style kitchen environments
• Highly independent and able to work efficiently with minimal direction
• Exceptional attention to detail with ability to correct portion inconsistencies
• Proficient in food cost control, portioning, and waste reduction techniques
• Well-versed in UAE food safety and hygiene standards
• Calm and organized under pressure during tight morning prep schedules
• Willing to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required for fresh food delivery
