Chef De Partie - Lounges & Premium Operations

Role Overview

The Chef De Partie will manage daily operations for a substantial kitchen section and a designated lounge area, ensuring the highest standards of food quality while working closely with Sous Chefs. This role involves supervising junior kitchen personnel and upholding stringent hygiene and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene policies established by the organization.
• Coach and train Demi Chef De Parties and new kitchen staff to meet company standards.
• Supervise food preparation and ensure appealing presentation.
• Create menu orders and forward them to Sous Chefs for review and approval.
• Coordinate with stores and other departments to guarantee smooth operational flow.
• Assign tasks to team members based on operational needs.
• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) practices in kitchen storage and production areas.
• Manage staff schedules according to business demands and suggest necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and forecast consumption and ordering.
• Identify improvements to increase efficiency and enhance quality of kitchen processes.
• Support initiatives for business enhancements and changes.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by the Head of Department related to the position.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Diploma in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification.
• Alternatively, have completed High School education with at least three years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Experience working in a luxury hotel or similar high-end establishment is preferred.
