Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct pre-scheduling patient screenings to gather essential details and ensure proper appointment arrangements.
- Complete patient pre-registration meticulously within designated systems, adhering to organizational registration standards.
- Verify insurance coverage and ensure compliance with managed care and payer policies.
- Review revenue cycle matters, escalating cases requiring financial assistance accordingly.
- Maintain precise patient records while respecting confidentiality, privacy, and regulatory guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with provider office personnel to facilitate effective communication and guide scheduling processes.
- Support onboarding and training efforts for new team members.
- Manage scheduling equipment and report technical issues promptly.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum educational attainment: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: At least two years of experience in medical secretarial, clerical, or healthcare administrative roles.
- Familiarity with patient scheduling, registration, and healthcare access processes preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to quickly learn and sustain competence with healthcare technology platforms.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
