Catering Assistant

About the Role

Join our team as a Catering Assistant based in Howden, near Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire. This is a full-time position working 30 hours weekly from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid break.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent hospitality and create memorable dining experiences.
• Work collaboratively within a busy catering team environment.
• Serve meals to customers efficiently and courteously.
• Operate a till for customer transactions.
• Prepare food items including salad making and general food preparation.
• Handle dishwashing duties and manage the pot wash area.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and cleaning both kitchen and dining spaces.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a catering setting is desirable but not mandatory.
• A positive attitude with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
