Position Overview

The role of a Cashier is essential in delivering excellent customer experiences by providing prompt, friendly, precise, and secure transaction services. Key responsibilities include processing purchases and returns, managing the Self-Checkout station, and offering product insights to enhance customer satisfaction and identify potential sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Handle checkout and return transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain and supervise the Self-Checkout area to ensure smooth operations.
• Continuously improve product and project knowledge to assist customers effectively and promote sales.
• Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures aimed at minimizing shrinkage.
• As a Head Cashier, organize and assign duties to Cashiers, expedite price verifications, authorize Point of Sale activities and markdowns across multiple service points including mainline registers, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
• Serve as the initial point of escalation for customer concerns, ensuring swift resolution.
• Assist in overseeing, coaching, and training Front End Associates by contributing to the onboarding of new Cashiers and leveraging available tools to support ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Preferred candidates have at least one year of experience in a Cashier role.
