Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet every customer with politeness and friendliness.
• Efficiently complete all sales transactions, including deactivating merchandise under the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) Program.
• Market and promote Walmart-sponsored services such as credit card programs, product protection plans, and charitable campaigns.
• Support customers in packing and loading their purchases.
• Adhere to workplace safety standards by practicing safe lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy workstation.
• Ensure the security and accuracy of cash register operations by following company policies and maintaining situational awareness.
• Direct customers to a Customer Service Manager for appropriate service requests or transaction issues.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $15.50 per hour.
